News: The Fair Traders Cooperative opens its doors in Holmfirth, Yorkshire
1 December, 2010
Congratulations to the Holme Valley Fairtrade Support Group, which recently realised its vision of bringing fairly traded products to Yorkshire market town of Holmfirth.
In June, The Fair Traders Cooperative, which is run entirely by volunteers, opened its doors to local residents. It also sells high quality food, drink, toys, gifts and health and beauty products at affordable prices through its website.
A non-for-profit organisation, the co-operative’s aim is to support producers in the developing world who are unable to access major retailers in the UK.
The Fair Traders Cooperative is at 32-34 Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth, just south of Huddersfield. Call 01484 690515 for more information.
