Thanet Fairtrade Initiative backed Fairtrade Fortnight 2011 with a number of events held between February 28 and March 13.

The Fairtrade Foundation asked everyone to shout loudly and proudly about Fairtrade and urged everyone to ‘Show off your label’ – whether that was by telling the world how your cake was made extra special by using Fairtrade sugar and spice or by sharing your most tempting bottle of Fairtrade wine with friends and family.

This year, Thanet Fairtrade Initiative’s events included a Fairtrade supper, a Fairtrade tea party and a Fairtrade thanksgiving service. Thank you to all those who joined in, came along or helped support our biggest Fairtrade Fortnight yet!
